About Me

Greetings, I'm Deanna Synowiec, a compassionate and enlightened counseling intern with a background in business and a passion for supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness. Currently pursuing my Master's and Doctoral degree in Counseling from Oakland University, I am eager to apply my unique blend of empathy and business experience to create meaningful connections with clients aged 11 to seniors.

Driven by a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to lifelong learning, I have transitioned from the corporate world to the field of counseling to pursue my true calling of helping others navigate life's challenges. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, active listening, and a strengths-based perspective, allowing me to meet clients where they are and empower them to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.

Whether working with adolescents grappling with identity and academic pressures or seniors navigating transitions in later life, I believe in fostering a safe, supportive and healthy therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their unique experiences.
